Network Marketing Tips - The Crucial Tips

As far as network marketing tips are concerned, if there is one you should write out and plaster on your wall it's this..."Never come across as a desperate marketer."

Network marketing is full of desperate marketers yet the sad part is many just don't realize they are acting desperate and it generally stems through poor training and mentoring. Those who are classed as desperate marketers are the ones who go at a prospect from the moment they meet them either personally or on the phone and hammer them with their offer.

It eventually disintegrates into the marketer telling their prospect that if they don't join they will either never see financial wealth or miss out big time. Let me ask you this...would you be impressed by this rhetoric?

Not likely and neither should you be. Where is there any value to the prospect with this type of interaction, there's none so as far as network marketing tips go, keep this impulse under check and develop the mindset of help first benefit later.

It normally starts with a person making a list and making assumptions about who would be suited to a business opportunity and who needs it. It's not really businesslike is it and after all, network marketing is a business. You see, not everyone wants to get into a business. Some will be happy with their lot in life, their job or just lounging around and nothing you say or do will convince them otherwise. And that's the whole crux of this issue...convincing. You don't have to convince someone they need your business opportunity. Once you do that, you'll be forever going into damage control trying to convince them they should stay committed and success will come.

When you start doing this, it's no longer a matter of what your prospect wants but what you want and unless someone is genuinely interested in doing something, then there's nothing you can do to change their mind. It's one of the greatest multi level marketing lies and believe me, adopting a more realistic attraction marketing based process will get you more results than you could have ever dreamed of. So what are the network marketing lies we are talking about? Here are some and see if these are familiar...in other words, can you identify with them?

- Anyone can do this business

- We’ll build your business for you

- You don't have enough belief

- This isn't sales and we just share products

- Everyone is your prospect

Do any of these resonate with you? They should because these are some of the things pitched to prospects before joining a business and the truth is they have hurt the industry and a strong reason why network marketing is "a no" for many people who have tried it.

For example, the biggest of all network marketing lies is undoubtedly "everyone is your prospect." While everyone may "need" what you have, not everyone "wants" what you have.

This old school tactic has been taught to new prospects since day one and while it may have been pertinent even up to ten years ago, today, with resources such as the internet to attract targeted and genuine prospects, it just doesn't apply anymore.
